Sky: Pulisic could take Milan’s next penalty after misses against Bologna

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan missed two (!) penalties in the game against Bologna last weekend and a penalty-taker change could now be on the cards. According to a report, the successful summer signing Christian Pulisic could take the next one.

Pulisic has been a key player for the Rossoneri since has arrived from Chelsea in the summer. With 7 goals and 6 assists in all competitions, including some winners, he has already lived up to the price tag and more responsibility could be on the cards.

According to Sky Italia, as cited by MilanNews, Pulisic could take the next penalty for Milan after Olivier Giroud and Theo Hernandez both missed last time out. The American has scored 9/9 penalties in his career, most of them from the US national team, and could thus be the chosen one.

Rafael Leao is another option, but Pioli has already made it clear that the winner perhaps isn’t the perfect man for the job. Of course, Giroud or Hernandez stepping up again should not be excluded as both have generally been very secure from the spot.

Milan will take on Frosinone at 18:00 CET tonight and it remains to be seen what will happen if a penalty is awarded to the Rossoneri.
