AC Milan are working on a few signings for the Women’s team and it seems they have narrowed it down to two options for the centre-forward position. And there seems to be a relatively clear favourite.
The Rossonere finished third this past season and it’s not exactly a surprise that they are working on a few signings, also given a few departures lately. As learned by our colleagues at SempreMilan.it, they have two targets for the attack.
The first name on the list is Valeria Pirone. Her contract with Roma will expire at the end of the month and she has been offered to several top clubs in Italy. Milan seemingly have an advantage, but Fiorentina and Sassuolo (her former team) are also in the running.
In addition to Pirone, the Rossonere are also keeping tabs on Empoli’s winger Chante Dompig, who can play as a centre-forward as well. However, she has just undergone surgery for an ACL tear and will only be an option from January 2023.
