AC Milan are continuing to work on several options to improve the squad, and recently some links have surfaced regarding right-back targets.
According to Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan), there are doubts about Alessandro Florenzi’s physical reliability, while Sergino Dest’s loan has ended and Pierre Kalulu is seen more as a centre-back, and thus a right-back could arrive.
The paper claims that the Milan management are targeting 18-year-old Ivan Fresneda of Real Valladolid, already sought in the past by many clubs such as Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal, Barcelona and Juventus.
They cite Relevo who claim that Milan are very close to agreeing personal terms with the teenage talent. However, there are currently no negotiations with Valladolid who are asking for €15m in order to sell.
The Rossoneri would need to sell a player such as Florenzi and then could close at €10m plus bonuses, with developments potentially to come in the next few days and weeks.
If this happened it’s good, can see him compete with Calabria for starting sport.
But thinks RB is like 5th priority right now, after CDM, CF, RW, and LB.
