Torino are trying to renew the contract of striker Antonio Sanabria after AC Milan showed serious interest in him at the end of the summer transfer window, a report claims.
As has been reported by Tuttosport (via Calciomercato.com), the Granata want to try and secure the future of the Paraguayan striker as he has been an important player for some time.
They are expected to extend his current deal for two years which would keep him at the club until 2027, with an option for another year on top of that.
He would like to earn nearer to €2m per season with bonuses included. Torino rejected efforts from both Lazio and Milan during the summer, as well as reported interest from some clubs in the Premier League.
This means that should Milan enter the market for another striker in the January transfer window, Sanabria is unlikely to be an option for the Rossoneri.
