Kosovare Asllani, the star of AC Milan Women, was on a five-game goal drought prior to today’s game against Sassuolo. She didn’t need much time to break it, scoring the opener after just 38 seconds of play.
The Swede is arguably the star of the Women’s team given her quality and experience, but some questions were asked after five games without a goal. Today, however, she didn’t need much time.
Making the most of an inswinging cross on the edge of the box, Asllani managed to beat the goalkeeper and put the Rossonere ahead. All after just 38 seconds of play and you can take a look at the goal in the video below.
