Cosenza prevailed in the Serie B relegation play-offs against Brescia, winning 2-1 on aggregate. Two AC Milan loanees were at the centre of attention, helping decide the matter over the two legs.
Cosenza won the first game 1-0 thanks to a second-half header by Marco Nasti (see goal below), who joined the club on a season-long loan from Milan last summer. At the age of 19, the striker has a bright future ahead.

In the second leg, Brescia opened the scoring but with just seconds left of the game, Milan loanee Marco Brescianini sent a great cross into the box and Andrea Meroni found the back of the net (see goal below). Cosenza thus sent Brescia down to Serie C.
Meroni’s goal keeps Cosenza in Serie B and sends Brescia to C.
It’s giving major Higuain vs. Inter, for me.
