Watch: Reijnders opens the scoring against Monza after excellent dribble

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan took the lead early on during their game against Monza at San Siro, with Tijjani Reijnders netting his second goal for the club after a fantastic dribble.

In the fourth minute, Milan did take the lead. Reijnders dribbled between five Monza players, with the last one beaten by a lovely slalom before the Dutchman poked the ball between the legs of Di Gregorio, who might feel a bit of regret to have not saved it.

  1. “Reijnders needs to be bench, he looks tired. Pioli is stupid”

Reijnders: hey, i just scored probably the fastest goal for this season 😀

    1. Yeah, maybe Pioli is not a top coach, but he’s still a professional coach who did spend most of his life in football, winning one Scudetto. I think he and his staff are the best to judge who is fit or good enough during weekly practices to play the next game. I’m so tired of all these FUT coaches in the comments.

It’s not like we will hire Sir Ferguson or Pep Guardiola if Pioli is fired. We’ll have the same kind of cheap sustainable coach.

And good news for everyone, here is Simic entering the game after our 27th injury of the season.

        1. MilanLab has been criticised long before Pioli was here. Watch the Pato itw, he explains they broke his career. Now the management don’t address the situation and doesn’t even talk about it, so hard to say who’s at fault. But of course it’s Pioli’s. The cold in Milan right now is probably Pioli’s fault as well.

          1. True but at the same time injuries have seemingly been increasing by the seasons under pioli, I hope whatever it is they solve what’s wrong because our injury situation is obviously not acceptable

        2. You can blame fitness coach and Pioli if the injured happened during training. But Pobega injured happened during the match and no medical experts can guarantee no injuries during the match.

          1. Yes but at the same time it did not look to be a clash with a Monza player and since it was unforced it’s makes you wonder how he suffered a muscle injury in the beginning of the game and why this is a common trend for us

      1. And Simic scored a goal make it 2-0.

Unfortunate for Pobega though because he played quite well before he got injured. Not sure what happened too. I didn’t see him got serious tackled by Monza players. Hopefully nothing serious.

        1. Seems like muscular injury, again.

Great for Simic, love the celebration with everybody smiling! Now careful with the hype, Alberto Paloschi scored after 18 seconds in his first Serie A game then had a very average career. He’s playing in Serie D right now.

  2. Reijnders did really want to prove me wrong here lol.
Good game from him so far.
I’d like to see Bennacer sub him in in the second half, but again, so far I have no complaints.
    Happy for Simic as well

  3. I said this Kjaer is Acmilan no 1 defender because of his experience if Kjaer is not in this match by now it will be either 1–,or 2-1 Kjaer supposed to play full time, tomori don’t deserve full time except Pioli is just being partial and wicked
