Nicolo Zaniolo’s time in Turkey might last just a few months as AC Milan are keen on bringing him back to Italy, according to a report.
As Calciomercato.com report, Zaniolo’s start to life with Galatasaray has gone well so far as he has two goals in three Super Lig matches, averaging one every 54 minutes. A mutual love developed, as the forward declared that he wanted to play in the Champions League with the Turkish club next season.
Only time will tell if they were words born out of circumstance or not, because in the summer it is expected that Milan and Juventus will try to sign him. Zaniolo’s contract with Galatasaray has a €35m release clause, a figure that will drop to €30m in January 2024 and €28m for the summer of 2024.
Juventus are following closely but would eventually like to open negotiations, while Paolo Maldini told Zaniolo just before he went to Galatasaray that a new attempt will be made in the summer.
If we can get him at 20M it would turn out to be a good deal in my opinion.
Because the other 35M€ men have been so devastating that Milan wants more of those?
