Despite the fact Nicolo Zaniolo only moved to Galatasaray last month, there has been continued speculation that AC Milan are pondering a summer bid.
Calciomercato.com report how Zaniolo spoke during an interview with Hurriyet about his future and how he is finding life in Turkey thus far, and he certainly sent a strong response to any notion that he is already looking for a way out.
“I have no intention of staying here to wait for an offer and leave at the end of the season. I want to win the league and play in the Champions League with Galatasaray,” he said.
There has always been interest from Milan, with Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara having tried to sign him in the January window, but there were also two Premier League clubs in Tottenham and Bournemouth who tried hard too.
The contract that Zaniolo has signed includes a release clause that will decrease over time: €35m euros in the summer, €28-30m 2024 and then €23-25 the following year. However, it seems as though he has no thoughts about a return to Italy at the moment.
