Zlatan Ibrahimovic decided to visit the AC Milan squad in the dressing room after last night’s defeat against Monza, one that leaves a very bitter taste in the mouth.
Milan had a nightmare evening against their Lombardy neighbours Monza as they conceded twice late on to lose 4-2 in a dramatic encounter at the U-Power Stadium.
A penalty from Pessina and a deflected shot from Mota had the home side two goals up going into the break, and then Luka Jovic’s red card early in the second half seemed to end the contest.
However, Milan roared back in the second half to level it with 10 men as Olivier Giroud and Christian Pulisic scored to bring it back to 2-2. Then, Bondo made it 3-2 and then Colombo scored against his parent club to make sure of the win.
According to what is being reported by DAZN (via MilanNews), Ibrahimovic went to the dressing room to be with the team after the full-time whistle, having been present at the stadium given his role as Senior Advisor.
It once again demonstrates that Ibrahimovic is functioning as a team manager of sorts, wanting to be close to the squad in difficult moments, which last night certainly was.
