The stances of Stefano Pioli and the AC Milan management regarding the future of Pierre Kalulu could be about to clash.
As our colleagues at SempreMilan.it confirm, the Calciomercato.com report regarding Pioli’s stance is correct. The Milan boss wants the Frenchman to stay beyond the summer window because he is the first alternative to both Malick Thiaw and Fikayo Tomori.
This is an opinion that will obviously be taken into account by the Rossoneri management but they do not consider Kalulu to be non-transferable.
The Bayern Munich hypothesis could in fact become concrete if the Bavarians decide to offer an amount between €30-35m for the former Lyon man, which would guarantee Milan a pure capital having signed him for just over €1m three years ago.
Kalulu could therefore leave for a high enough offer and there is a replacement already in mind: Konstantinos Koulierakis, a 19-year-old centre-back owned by PAOK Thessaloniki and valued at around €10m.
