The AC Milan management are hoping to collect a nice amount from the permanent sales of three players, which will boost the available transfer budget.
A lot of the focus at the moment is on potential signings that could come in during the January transfer window to bolster the squad, such as Alessandro Buongiorno of Torino, but there are some exits lined up too.
According to what Antonio Vitiello has written in his column for MilanNews, Milan will receive €3m from the sale of Junior Messias to Genoa. The winger went there on a loan with obligation to buy, and the clause was triggered last week.
Meanwhile, the Rossoneri will certainly collect €4.5m from Fenerbahce after Rade Krunic signed there. The formula is again a loan with obligation, but that clause is a formality as it will be triggered when they are mathematically safe (Fenerbahce currently lead the league).
Then, Vitiello adds that another €23m will arrive from the sale of Charles De Ketelaere. Yesterday he scored again and Atalanta are increasingly convinced by the idea signing him permanently after having already invested €3m in the summer on the loan.
The roughly €30m that will end up in the club’s coffers will be added to the transfer pot, more for the summer than for this month though.
