Ahead of the January mercato, AC Milan have been extensively linked with two positions. Firstly, a centre-back to aid them in their current crisis. Additionally, they would like a striker, and it seems the Rossoneri have honed in on their target.
Unlike the plans for a central defender, the choice for a striker has been narrow throughout the run-up to January. It has consistently been between Jonathan David and Serhou Guirassy, but due to the Canadian’s price, the Rossoneri are now favouring a move for the Guinean.
CalcioMercato.com have reported that contact has been ongoing in the past two weeks now, and with the Stuttgart striker opening himself for a move in the upcoming window, the Diavolo have begun making the steps needed to bring him to Milan.
Firstly, Guirassy needs to decide if he is to make himself available to Guinea at the African Cup of Nations. Once that has been decided, Milan will begin formal talks with Stuttgart for the 27-year-old. Rather than playing the €17million release clause, which requires the full payment up-front, the Rossoneri could offer €17m plus a few million in additional bonuses so they can spread the fee over several instalments, like regular transfers work.
Please no.
Also just in – growth decree has been rejected by Italian government and so it ends on December 31st.
We can forget Guirassy and co.
Do you think more and more club will join the Super League now?

Look at this…
Good. We might actually give the two strikers we signed a few months ago a chance…
We wouldn’t need to rely on a growth decree if we didn’t p$&s money away endlessly swapping and changing players in the exact same positions.
Just sign him asap. And then go straight to CB CDM and last a second LB
Also Ted we need to start getting good ST so we could have someone past giroud era. You’re dumb not wanting good ST
This is really astounding, “believe it or not” style: fans – or better saying, so called ‘fans’ – that doesn’t want to see their side reinforced.
You either have to sign him this week, or it’s all over starting Jan 1st…
If he comes, he has to replace Giroud as a main striking force. There is no need to “integrate” him from the bench & ruin his momentum. Give him 90 minutes each game.
