  1. While the projected lineup is now out I’ll hold out hope this:

    If Mike is fit, play him. Thanks Sporty I appreciate you immensely! Hope to see you more in different circumstances.

    Back Line (R->L)
    Flo – Thiaw – Fickle – Theo

    I get that Calabria is okay now but Lazio is not scoring. Let him rest for Dortmund. I’d like to see him at the 60.

    Midfield
    RLC – Adli – Reindeers

    Adli was a defensive liability Wednesday and was out-physicalled on a number of occasions. However he brought a new dimension to the attack as well. Worries me with Luis Alberto a bit but he is not nearly as physical. If Adli gets in trouble move Pobega in as wrecking ball.

    I am a big fan of Musah (USA!) But selfishly it is clear he is capable of changing the game off the bench more than most. I hope to see him spell RLC or TR at the 60 to change our tempo and attack profile.

    Front
    Chuk – Okay – Rafa

    Romangoli uses cement boots. Okafur will give us a dimension they have trouble with. Y’all have been suggesting Giroud has Achilles/ankle issues. Rest him – 33 games to go.

    Puli pulled double duty playing left. Rest him ahead of Dortmund. I don’t think Leao played Wed for any other reason than to conserve miles on Puli. Chuk still looks only partially integrated. Invest now in he and Okay developing a sympatico. Same with RLC and Flo, they need to help Chuk know where to be.

    Beyond that consider the speed of the front line and Romangoli cement shoes.

    I hope to see Romero at the 60 if we are up. He reminds me of all the good about Saelamakers.

    I hope Barts can get another 10 min at the end.

    So all in all set up to win but also for January when we need all our players familiar and fluid in live game situations.
