It is well known that AC Milan are in the market for a new left-back and they have begun negotiations with Juventus over one of their defenders.
Theo Hernandez is the undisputed started on the left side of the defence but Stefano Pioli has not been able to rely on a solid deputy for the left-back, given Fode Ballo-Toure has not really gained full trust.
However, the Rossoneri are evaluating the sale of Ballo-Touré, creating a gap in the squad that would need to be filled and ideally by an Italian player, for squad list reasons.
First the sale
At the moment Bologna and Fulham seem to be the most interested in the Senegalese full-back, with Milan having set an asking price of a few million so that they can recoup the fee they paid Moncada two years ago.
The Rossoneri have sent a strong signal to the player by leaving him out of the squad for the preseason tour of the United States, making it clear he is not in the plans.
Replacement identified
CEO Giorgio Furlani is testing the waters for Andrea Cambiaso, a left-back owned by Juventus who spent last season on loan at Bologna.
The age and potential of the 23-year-old seem to have convinced RedBird Capital to invest in him and try and bring him in, but only under certain conditions.
Milan want to let Cambiaso grow calmly in the shadow of Theo Hernandez. The Bianconeri are ready to sell, but they want to generate a large capital gain.
The asking price is set at €20m, while at the moment Furlani is willing to go up to €10m. There will be another meeting in the next few days.
Surely juve won’t do us any favors…

Milan should beware Transaction with Juve. All the Transactions we had with them in a couple of years are bad market. If we are to buy ,we should at minimum amount .
