AC Milan are in the market for a new centre-forward and they are very much keeping their options open at the moment, according to a report.
This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan) points out that Olivier Giroud has scored some important goals this season for Milan, but he is the only one who guarantees goals consistently and he is now 37 years of age with an expiring contract.
In addition to pursuing a central defender in January, the management are expected to look for another centre-forward when the transfer window reopens, and there is a name that is gaining momentum.
Santiago Gimenez is one of the profiles that Moncada has very high on his list. The Mexican striker has 13 goals in 12 league games this season which means his list of suitors is long, especially given that he is just 22 years old.
He is also making his mark in the Champions League too, with two goals in two games, which also means that his asking price is rising.

I would take Gimenez in a heart beat. Watch him play. He’s great
Sure. Cost a bit and milan is oh so cheap about cash
Milan should spend 100m and then get fined by UEFA again like people here want
No need to spend 100m bring gimenez and Theo backup, Calabria backup and let see who is leaving to field the gap
Odds are Theo and Magic Mike are sold so the money won’t be an issue
Gimenez would be the best bet of all the rumored strikers. But the fact is that he’ll be bought by a club who won’t try to haggle for every f’ng cent. Most likely will end up in EPL and score plenty of goals there while we spend 40M€ on a sure flop.
He and Az Alkamar Greece Striker and Stutgart Striker and Adams of Montpilier are the best Siuted Strikers for acmilan.
I Recommend the Greece because of quality and price.
