Assan Ouédraogo has ended up on the radar of AC Milan, as reported this morning, and further confirmation has now arrived on the Rossoneri’s interest. However, the competition for the player is fierce.
Ouédraogo has been making a name for himself with the first team of Schalke 04 this season despite being just 17 years old. In nine appearances – six of them from start – the midfielder has found the back of the net once.
Naturally, some of the big clubs are monitoring his situation and Milan are one of them, as was reported this morning. Antonio Vitello has confirmed the interest in his latest editorial for MilanNews, but also added that the confirmation is fierce.
As per the journalist, the likes of Bayern Munich and Liverpool are also keeping a close eye on the starlet. Ouédraogo has a release clause of €20m and if he keeps this up, then that clause could be triggered at the end of the season.
Milan have made it clear that they want to sign players for a maximum of €20m, potentially more with bonuses, and thus they have a shot in the race. The Rossoneri ‘will try’, as the journalist states, but it won’t be easy.
