Brighton head coach Roberto De Zerbi held a special seminar at Brighton’s training ground for Italian coaches who are on a course to gain further qualifications.
The ex-Sassuolo boss has done a good job since taking over from Graham Potter as the Brighton boss part way through last season, having been praised for playing an attractive style of football that got them into the Europa League.
De Zerbi has been linked with potentially taking over from Stefano Pioli as Milan head coach if he were to struggle, and he even commented on the idea of returning to Italy one day.
He held a seminar at Brighton’s state of the art training complex which was attended by Italian coaches, and he was pictured alongside former Milan defender Ignazio Abate.
The two had a spell in the youth sector at the same time, and now Abate is of course the head coach of Milan’s Primavera side.
