Two former AC Milan midfield stars are covering the game against Borussia Dortmund for Prime Video in Massimo Ambrosini and Clarence Seedorf.
Both shared their thoughts before the game on the selection decisions made by Stefano Pioli and who could be the difference maker in Germany.
Ambrosini began: “Right compromise between Adli and Musah: the intelligence of the Dutchman, combined with his ability to block, can make the difference from both a defensive and offensive point of view. Who am I betting on? Pulisic? No, Leao.”
Seedorf added: “Milan are now confident and last year’s experience in the Champions League will bring more awareness and serenity. Milan have matured in my eyes.
“The derby may have prepared the team, making the boys think ‘Come on, let’s take matters into our own hands and start again’. Having suffered such a heavy defeat perhaps gave that spark that was needed.”
