AC Milan are expected to reinforce the attack with a striker in January and Akor Adams appears to be the primary target. However, his arrival would not exclude the signing of Jonathan David in the summer, a report claims.
Milan have struggled to find the back of the net this season, forcing the 37-year-old Olivier Giroud to work overtime. Luka Jovic, who arrived in the summer, has been a big disappointment with zero goals and that’s why a striker could arrive in January.
According to Corriere dello Sport, as cited by MilanNews, Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada have set their sights on Montpellier’s Akor Adams for January. He has scored seven goals this season and his price tag is in line with Milan’s budget, but convincing the French side might not be that easy.
Jonathan David remains a key target, as the newspaper continues, but the costs of a mid-season operation are too high. Therefore, Milan will attempt to sign him in the summer instead, when he will have just one year left on his contract with Lille.
In short, the Rossoneri will attempt to sign Adams in January and then David in the summer. It remains to be seen what this would mean for Olivier Giroud, who is willing to renew his contract for one more year.
Neither of them seems that good honestly.
After they make a blunder of things i wonder how long will it take to fire them. David, lol. Just to save a fúcking penny
Adams looks promising to me. An addition like that in January could be a huge boost to our attack
I hope it will work because Adams is strong
Adams following in Girouds footsteps after that crazy season he had to launch his career
Adams has some insane numbers himself, Nigeria have a really promising generation, just can’t figure out how they are unable to put it together on the international stage.
Widespread corruption in the Nigerian Federation, match fixing in their league, the usual sort of Third World stuff. About par with what the country is doing with its oil well, which is mostly siphoned off into corruption also, and not used for the benefit of the people.
IF these are our choices then I am not that hopeful. Again poor planning by management for one of the most (if not the most) important position in the team – striker. Terrible to not have secured someone last summer when many players were available. Nobody wants to sell in January so you are left with very little choice. Terrible. Could cost us the season IMO
No to both, got enough cheap foreigners in the team already
Bring back and trust in Colombo
Both these guys are one-pump-chumps… Do we really not have alternatives?
