The Serhou Guirassy track is cooling down quickly for AC Milan, a report claims, and there are a couple of big reasons why.
Gianluca Di Marzio confirms that the Stuttgart striker is one of the main transfer targets for the Rossoneri ahead of the January transfer window, but the situation seems to have become more complicated due to the player’s salary requests.
The Guinea international has already scored 19 goals this season between the Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal, and this has attracted the attention of several clubs, including Milan. The Rossoneri would also be willing to pay the €17.5m release clause to sign him.
However, wages are a different issue. Guirassy currently receives €3m net per season from Stuttgart and wants €5m net per year from his next club, which he would easily get from a Premier League side but Milan would hesitate to pay.
Due to this issue linked to the salary – especially with the Growth Decree set to be scrapped – the negotiations to bring Guirassy to Milan become complicated.
Milan are also able to count on the positive recent performances of Luka Jovic. The former Fiorentina man has found the net in each of the last three league matches against Frosinone, Atalanta and Salernitana.
Ok np, let’s count on Jovic and Olivier Giroo again. Maybe we will get UCL spot and Scudetto again this season.
You wish lol you must be living In some other world to think we can get both (UCL Spot and scudetto)
It was always gonna end this way because the management is cheap.
They were cheap with thuram, they were cheap with Taremi and they will continue to be cheap. Now i don’t mind a salary cap and the whole sustainability model, but take that shît into account when you’re searching for players.. ffs its basic to do that….
Exactly the management is too blame, they ate blindly backing Pioli, he has done all he can with Milan, but his time is up.
The management to their credit has built a good squad, but our starting 11 is not in a level where we can really challenge fir honours, we are at least 3 big players .
Its time for real investment to get us those 3 players, if Cardinal & Co are not up to getting a real coach (De Zebri or Conte) then its time for change while we still have an attractive brand.
An Italian coach, Scavilini & Ricci would be a great start
we have 3 big players. Theo, Lord Leao and magik Mike.
ofc pioli managed to kill 2 of them, (y) good boy
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Wow a 4 goal striker is better than 19 goal striker just wow
*Hugh* this management
He will score 5 goals next season, wherever he goes…
We must want the very best not compromise with the mediocrity because we mediocre players we aren’t going too far quote me on that
When Stuttgart has the same wage bill as AC Milan.
Thankfully he is asking for a lot. What a waste of money…Ideal for Manchester United, they throw a 100M a season on s**t.
Hojlund is flop?
You mean the player that scored his 1st Premier League goal in late December? No, he has been amazing for them, they are doing great with 50% total scored goals compared to City or Liverpool. He will be a good player, but needs time, he is too young and isn’t Haaland. Guirassy is 27 and will never repeat a season like this. Stop smoking too much and be realistic…
