AC Milan Women came away with all three points in their game against Napoli this afternoon, albeit with a lot of luck. After a poor performance overall, the Rossoneri managed to find the winner in the 95th minute.
As stated by our correspondent Luca Maninetti, who was present at the game and reported live for SempreMilan.it, it was a poor match from the Maurizio Ganz’s women. They made many technical errors and the defence was subpar, while the build-up just didn’t work.
Emelyne Laurent came off the bench in the second half and ended up being the hero, scoring the winner deep into added time (95th minute). A tough blow for Napoli who, frankly, deserved to get more out of the game.
It was the Rossonere’s first win of the season, after the 4-2 loss against Roma, and they will need to build on this with Juventus up next. A better performance will certainly be needed from them.
Il #MilanFemminile conquista tre punti d'oro contro un Napoli che avrebbe meritato certamente qualcosa in più. Brutta gara quelle delle 🔴⚫️ errori e orrori difensivi.
