Luka Romero will leave AC Milan on loan before the window closes, a report claims, but it is a move back to Spain that is currently the most likely.
Romero arrived in the summer on a free transfer from Lazio but he is struggling more than expected to find playing time at Milan after a preseason in which he looked sharp and was able to contribute.
He has just 85 minutes spread over four Serie A appearances, and 71 minutes played in the Coppa Italia, which at 19 years of age is not ideal in terms of his development.
According to what is being reported by Matteo Moretto in his latest for Relevo, Como in Serie B – who are coached by Cesc Fabregas – pushed hard to sign Romero but ultimately that idea did not convince the player. He does not want to drop down to the second tier.
Almería have also requested information, presenting a written offer of a loan until the end of the year to Milan. The teenager really likes the idea returning to Spain and he welcomes this option as a result.
Soon a final and definitive choice will be made by the Argentine, while Boca Juniors and Cádiz have also shown interest in Romero, but today they are further behind.
Give him the same amount of chances as certain others and he probably will improve….
