AC Milan are open to letting Yacine Adli leave the club this summer and he could do so via a formula similar to Lorenzo Colombo’s Lecce move.
MilanNews reported yesterday that Lille have requested information from Milan about Adli and his availability, although it is unclear whether they have got a loan move or a permanent deal in mind.
Adli failed to find much space in the team at all during the 2022-23 season despite looking promising in friendlies. Now, the potential switch to a 4-3-3 and the abundance of midfielders arriving could see his playing time further limited.
According to the information we have through our colleagues at SempreMilan.it, Milan’s desire would be to sell the player on a permanent deal or, as has been done for other young players (for example Colombo), to accept a certain loan offer.
More specifically, the Rossoneri management would consider a loan deal with an option to buy in Lille’s favour (or any buying club) and a buy-back that would allow them to maintain control.
Pioli deserves a kick on his ass for letting Adil go without giving him enough time to prove himself.
Yes. Give him a chance
Well, We haven’t sold any player from the first team right? Just a dry loan for gabbia..
Tonali
Oh sorry other than tonali i mean the lesser players.
el hilali was sold to cambuur, belodi was released to olbia.
Adli is not Milan material. Just let him go.
I don’t know. Did he even get a proper chance ?
It’s a shame Pioli doesn’t give him a chance especially in a 4-3-3. He’s much better prospect than Pobega who offers very little. Rather keep Adli than Pobega. Shame if we sell this player for only 8-10M. Keep him or dry loan only
Not the same position. Pobega can play as a defensive midfielder while Adli is mostly a central/attacking midfielder
Pobega is a central mid and best suited for a 433, Adli can also play and there is better than him except in attacking positioning
Poebega a defensive mid??? LOL. Have you seen his stats in that position? Did you not watch him play as a DM in a double pivot last season? He was atrocious. Even for Torino when he had a better season he didn’t play DM he was in an advanced role. Your way off buddy.
Adli reminds me of Hauge in that people’s perception of his ability is inflated compared to what has been seen in non-friendly matches. We really haven’t seen much of him to be fair but basing an opinion on friendlies is risky especially considering he didn’t look particularly great in the few minutes of real game time he received.
I’d agree with this last season when ppl were hyping him up in preseason like what they’re doing now to Simic now. I’d agree up to the point where in the latter stages of the season when Pioli was forced to play Adli and he was miles better than CDK. So I’d say he didn’t get a fair shake.
However I do get what ur saying, ppl only look at the highlights and perhaps the coach is looking for particular attributes. Look at how easy he got dispossessed when carrying the ball forward and receiving the ball (which I’ve been preaching for 2 years now on this very site was his weak point)
Same with Simic, caught outside of the offside line too often for me and gets pulled away easily from his position
It is always hard to judge a player’s ability without a decent sample of real-match experience but I have to lean to the coaching staff’s judgement since they see them in training and we do not. Young players are often inconsistent so hopefully the flaws we see is the result of a small sample size. I would love to see more of our youth develop into first team players sooner than later. Internal solutions are cheaper and can eventually be sold for a significant profit to reinvest in the squad.
