Stefano Pioli wanted to be left alone when the full-time whistle was blown at San Siro last night. This is something that the AC Milan fans noticed and discussed on social media, but there is no controversy involved whatsoever.
Earlier today, we published a piece about Pioli’s reaction at full-time, telling his staff members to ‘leave me alone’ when they wanted to embrace him. An unusual reaction, perhaps, but it had nothing to do with the staff members and Pioli’s relationships with them.
As we have learned, the manager was naturally experiencing a lot of tension before and during the game, which he then let go of when the full-time whistle was blown. The reaction towards his colleagues, therefore, was nothing personal and strictly related to the release of adrenaline after a tough period.
Therefore, Pioli made it clear that he wanted to experience the moment alone. Once he returned to the locker room, and the tension had disappeared fully, he hugged his colleagues and celebrated the victory with the rest of the team.
In short, Pioli was not upset with his staff members even though it may have looked strange without any context.
What is the source about this? Is it news from the club’s PR as they obviously wants to control the stories surrounding Pioli and the team?
yeah man, the club is actually on fire and about to be dissolved, they are trying hard to control it atm.
Maybe you missed that Sherlock.

I feel for his wife and kids. I can’t even imagine living with this piece of sh#it. He just targets everyone for what not.
Dude has ZERO original comment on this site. He literally lives off of other people’s comments. Never musters up some thought on his own, always replies to what other ppl comment. Just attacks attacks attacks smh.
I feel for any human being that comes into contact with a piece of crap like you too
they must feel like offing themselves after 5 minutes of chatting with you
Seriously man? Just how big of an idiot you are.
Bye bye Poli ….hehehe
This more looks like a “next time don’t question me and my tactics” rather than an “I want to be left alone” gesture
Exactly so !
I don’t feel that way from his reaction
I would rather discuss about points we lost cause of his stupidity , forcing 433 and cutting 4231 for no reason. He bring back sort of 4231 last night and destroyed PSG and got unstopable Leao and Theo again.
The 4231 is the best formation for the Leao/Hernandez/Giroud engine that still powers this team offensively. Leao gets to hang out wide and wait for the ball to work his magic. But with the addition of Pulisic the team can afford to have a more dimensions to their play. But this will require a learning curve for the team and fans. These three can’t play every minute of every game and Okafor can’t be Leao jr. He needs to be Okafor. When the team doesn’t have the big three on the pitch they need new tactics and formations for optimal performance, which requires Pioli to make shifts. If Milan want to be competitive to Inter, they need to work on their rotations, which will have growing pains.
I think that they should work on having a two striker system like a 352 or something like it. It would give more playing time to the other strikers to keep them more engaged in the season. When your 2nd and third strikers are only getting mostly garbage minutes, you can’t expect them to synchronize well and they need to rotate those positions better.
Is he needing some time to himself to thank the wood work which saved us twice?😂
Did this even need a clarification?
It may well have been the biggest non-story of the year.
Sempre Milan have obviously been advised / warned by the club’s press office to (ahem) “clarify” the story. Milan’s press flunkies would have done better just to leave it; now casul readers will be even more suspicious of what’s really going on.
Sorry but nope~ Pioli out before everything turn around and get worse
This team deserves a better coach and tactician
