Francesco Camarda is now gaining a knack for scoring incredible goals, and he added another to his catalogue during yesterday’s game between Milan Primavera and Sassuolo.
As Calciomercato.com writes, Camarda didn’t get too big for his boots after his debut in Serie A with Milan, in which he broke the record for being the youngest debutant ever in the league.
Instead, he is keeping his head down and working hard, game after game. Against Sassuolo he scored another brace but they were not enough to achieve a win because the Rossoneri surrendered a three-goal lead late in the game.
Comparisons at this age are never too genuine but seeing Camarda play they come to mind almost spontaneously. The second goal against Sassuolo was reminiscent of Marco van Basten’s masterpiece against Real Madrid in 1989: a curling header at the far post.
In exactly one month Camarda will turn 16 which is an important date also for Milan because the signing of the first professional contract is already scheduled.
It will be for three years (the maximum established by the regulation), but the source mentions that Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City are tracking Camarda and thus this is an important move to lock down his future.
So what’s the plan exactly?
Sign him up when he turns 16, i hope there is more of a plan than that!
I think he will stay, but we can’t be complacent, man city is an attractive destination that can offer all sorts both financial and sporting
the plan is pump the price in next 2 years, by overhype or anything but no sporting plan, he’s pure capital gain
If we do not sign, nurture and base our future around this kid, then the new ownership gave no plan or interest in place. The whole point in their strategy was to forgo expensive acquisitions and develop talent. You can never guarantee anything but this kid has the potential to knock Haaland and Mbappe out of the water
