Rade Krunic’s time at AC Milan looks to be drawing to a close, according to reports, and the player could well pack his things in the next 24 hours.
Calciomercato.com confirm the reports that surfaced last night by stating that Krunic is getting closer and closer to becoming a new Fenerbahçe player. The Bosnian midfielder has been pushing for several weeks to join his friend Edin Dzeko in Istanbul.
He reached an agreement with the Turkish club for a three-year deal at €3m net per season, so personal terms were not a problem, but a higher offer was needed in order for Milan to sanction his departure.
The Rossoneri directors awaited Fenerbahçe’s renewed bid which arrived in the afternoon with an offer that comes close to the initial request: €5m plus €1m in bonuses. The contacts will continue in the next few hours, with a written official proposal the next step.
TMW and MilanNews also report that the deal between Milan and the Turkish club for the 30-year-old midfielder is being closed right now, that it will be worth €5m plus bonuses and the player could leave for Istanbul tomorrow.
Giorgio Furlani seemed to confirm in his interview with Sky last night that the negotiation with Fenerbahçe for Krunic is close to closing: “Everything should be ok. We wish him good luck.”
What next, who will replace him? #pioliout
They should bring Kessie back from Saudi
Ha, ha, a few months ago, an offer of less than 10-12M was unacceptable.
And now 5M is enough.
Haha yes very good management of this new direction
The article in August states the offer was in the region of 5M and Milan were holding out for 10M…
