Yunus Musah and Tijjani Reijnders are one yellow card away from suspension and will thus have to be careful against Frosinone tonight. Especially since AC Milan will take on Napoli next weekend, and will need all hands on deck in that clash.
Reijnders has played every single league game from start this season and has collected four yellow cards in the process. A suspension is just one card away, in other words, but Pioli will want the Dutchman available against Napoli next weekend.
Musah, meanwhile, has featured in all league games except five and while he will not start against Frosinone, an appearance off the bench is likely. Stefano Pioli might even replace Reijnders with the American during the game to protect himself.
Of course, the nightmare scenario would be both getting booked, leaving just Yacine Adli and Ismael Bennacer. The latter has only just returned from injury and playing a full game against Napoli would not be recommended, even if he will probably start in that game.
In any case, tonight’s clash is scheduled for 18:00 CET and you can read about the five key battles that we have picked out.
Why the new ugly squared FAVICON, it completely ruins the look of my bookmarks!? Horrible, just horrible.
Haha can you email a screenshot how it looks to me? isak@sempremilan.com.
A lot of big sites have square icons tho
no qualms with the square bookmark. looks on point.
Times like this you gotta “strategies” a bit and “rest” a player.. ofc thought process like that is well beyond our lord piolis mind so in the end, i guess, que sera, sera
Here we go. One yellow down one 2 go
If that’s the case, not sure why Reijnders is playing today… Save him. He, of all players, could use a break.
